The clearing house administers all aspects of settlement right through to the physical delivery mechanisms. As physical commodities are very diverse in nature, ACCH strives to cater and customize the process for each commodity to ensure smooth operational transitions and excellent service standards for our market participants.
PLB Bonded Warehouse
Goods are considered exported once it is stored in a PLB Bonded Warehouse, allowing goods to be freely traded by international participants without incurring VAT. These warehouses are operated by warehouse operators that have been stringently vetted and chosen to ensure that goods stored in their warehouses are managed with expertise.
Physical Delivery
The Asia Commodity Marketplace is a platform for trading physical commodities. Combined with the availability of PLB Bonded Warehouses, market participants have the flexibility to also store their cargo in the warehouses in Indonesia. This means that unlike traditional physical trading, purchasers of commodities on the platform will not be required to export the cargo out immediately. Having cargo in the warehouses also provides opportunities for cash-and-carry trades within and out of ACM, allowing market participants another avenue for utilizing existing physical cargo for trade opportunities.
